Teddy Bear Making Classes

October 30, 1999 "Old Hickory" Class

The October 99 class was so much fun.  We made "Old Hickory" a mohair bear with wobbly arms, legs and head.  This teddy was made of batik mohair that went from shades of brown to black.  Batik mohair is something like tyedyed fabric.  All materials and lunch were provided, everyone went home at the end of the day with a finished bear. This was a lot of fun for everyone who attended.  Everyone went home with a finished teddy.  There were sisters, mothers and daughters, friends and even a husband and wife who took the class together.
